Why I chose hair restoration

I have seen patients avoid photos, wear caps in every meeting and stop dating. And I have seen the same people come back a year later and simply look like themselves again.

That is why I focus on hair restoration. My promise to every patient is simple:

• You meet the doctor who treats you, not a salesperson.
• You get an honest assessment, even if the answer is “not yet”.
• You are treated as a person, not a number on an assembly line.

My training

I studied medicine at Universitas Indonesia. My interest in aesthetics and hair science took me abroad: I gained clinical experience in Turkey and Malaysia, two established centres of hair restoration.

The most formative part was a six-month professional residency with Dr. Inder at Klinik Dr. Inder in Malaysia. Dr. Inder is a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS). There I trained hands-on in:

• FUE (follicular unit extraction) and FUT (follicular unit transplantation)
• Beard and eyebrow transplant
• Hairline lowering for women
• Restoration of M-shaped and receding hairlines

How I design a hairline

A hairline is not a template. I plan every hairline around your face, your gender aesthetics and the long-term health of your scalp, and plan the angle, density and direction of the grafts.

Today I see 10 to 25 patients a month in Bali, from Indonesia and from abroad. The goal is not only regrowth, but that you look like yourself again.
