How it works

Beard and eyebrow transplants use the same FUE technique as a hair transplant. Single hairs are taken from your donor area, usually the back of the head, and placed one by one.

In the face, every hair is visible. That is why the angle and direction of each graft matter even more than on the scalp. Dr. Nurul draws the shape with you first, so it suits your face and your style.

  • Your own hair, no permanent make-up or tattoo
  • Shape planned together in front of the mirror
  • Local anaesthesia

Healing, month by month

  1. Week 1

Mild redness and small crusts are normal. Do not rub or scratch the area, sleep on your back, and avoid harsh cleansers and beard oils for two weeks. Transplanted eyebrows: no make-up, pencil or dye until Dr. Nurul confirms that healing is complete.

  2. Month 1

Transplanted hairs fall out. This is normal; the roots stay in place.

  3. Month 3–4

    First new growth.

  4. Month 12–15

    The final result is assessed.

Transplanted eyebrow hairs come from the scalp and keep growing longer, so they need regular trimming. Results vary from person to person.

Questions about beard & eyebrow transplant

Where do the hairs come from?

Usually from the back of the head. Dr. Nurul selects single hairs that match your beard or eyebrows as closely as possible.

Will it look natural?

That depends on careful planning of the shape and on the angle of every single hair. Dr. Nurul draws the shape with you before the treatment.

Do I have to trim transplanted eyebrows?

Yes. Hair taken from the scalp keeps growing longer than normal eyebrow hair, so it needs regular trimming.

When will I see the result?

New growth starts around month 3 to 4, and the final result is assessed after about 12 to 15 months. Results vary from person to person.

When can I shave again?

You can trim or shave a transplanted beard again after one month. Light make-up on the eyebrows is usually possible after about one month as well.
